Interactive Maps of Nuclear Weapons Facilities, Workers, and EEOICPA Facts

One of the best ways the public can check the pulse of what is going on with EEOICPA is by reviewing DOL's statistics and budget information. EECAP's Interactive maps provide a wealth of information portrayed visually, such as the percent of both Part B and Part E claims paid by facility and state, the number of claims paid in the last month in each state and facility, and more.

The data these maps are based on is from DOE, DOL, and NIOSH. Please contact us if you see something that needs correcting.  Data for these maps were taken from DOL statistics, DOE's Considered Sites list, DOE's Environmental Management Active Sites page and NIOSH's Special Exposure Cohort page

Nuclear Weapons Facilities Information Map

To use this map, click on an icon to open a window displaying data on a site. This will cause a pop-up window with additional information to open. The data for this map are current through July 31, 2017.

DEEOIC warns that these figures may not be exact as adjustments may occur.

Please note: because of limitations in the software some of the locations of the facilities are not accurate.  The software cannot locate more than one facility within a zip code.

The data used to power this map are taken from the DOL States Statistics webpages rather than the Facilities webpages.  The categories reported are the same ones reported in the States map above.  DEEOIC warns that these figures may not be exact as adjustments may occur.
