Government EEOICPA:

    Department of Labor--DOL manages EEOICPA.  They issue Final Decisions on Part B claims and investigate and issue Final Decisions on Part E claims.

    DOL EEOICPA Resource Centers--The Resource Centers can answer questions about EEOICPA and assist claimants in filling out forms, initiating the verification of employment, forwarding information to DOL, checking for updates on claims, and assisting with medical billing problems.

    Part E Ombudsman's  Office--An independent office that assists with Part E claims.

    NIOSH Part B EEOICPA--NIOSH does dose reconstructions for Part B and is involved in determining SEC applications.

    Part B Ombudsman's Office--(no website)1-888-272-7430.  Assists with SEC applications and Part B claims.

    CDC Radiation Studies--Health effects of environmental radiation exposures from nuclear weapons production facilities.

    Department of Energy EEOICPA--DOE handles Freedom of Information requests.

    CERCLA--The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act is commonly known as the Superfund. CERCLA holds documents from all Superfund sites and maintains Reading Rooms at each site as well as having on-line documents.

    Considered Sites Database--Contains information about facilities covered under EEOICPA.

    Linking Legacies--The story of the creation and development of the U.S. nuclear weapons complex.

    OpenNet--Includes declassified documents made public after October 1, 1994.

    Hanford Declassified Document Retrieval System--Contains more than 125,000 formerly classified documents available for public viewing dating back to the Manhattan District.

    Department of Justice--Radiation Exposure Compensation Program.

    The Worker Health Protection Program (WHPP) provides free medical screening for former current workers at Gaseous Diffusion Plants in Oak Ridge, TN, Paducah, KY and Portsmouth, OH, the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) in Idaho Falls, ID, Oak Ridge National Lab and Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN and  Mound in Miamisburg, OH and Fernald in Harrison, OH.

    Non-government EEOICPA:

    Cold War Patriots--A national non-profit group formed to help claimants find information needed and work with the legislature to improve EEOICPA.

    The Institute for Energy and Environmental Research--IEER provides understandable and accurate scientific and technical information on energy and environmental issues.

    Atomic Testing Museum--The Atomic Testing Museum tells the stories of the Nevada Test Site.

    The Building Trades National Medical Screening Program provides free medical screenings to construction workers who worked at nuclear weapons sites.

    Doctors:

    Dr. Rheanel A. Tolar will review charts for EEOICPA claimants.

    EEOICPA Advocates Web sites:

    Post '71 Uranium Workers Committee of Grants, New Mexico works toward adding RECA coverage for uranium miners, mill workers and transporters who worked after 1971.

    The AeroSpace website provides information and help for workers from Santa Susana Field Laboratory near Los Angeles.

    Tri-Valley CAREs of Livermore, California works toward a nuclear free world and helps EEOICPA claimants from Livermore Lab.

    Commonwealth Environmental Services, LLC works to ensure the safety and health of the community and compliance with Department of Labor's EEOICPA in Paducah, Kentucky.
